The bartender at the Legendary Boobie Trap Bar had Seen Some Shit during karaoke nights over the years. There was Thinks He's Kid Rock guy. The Oh God, Not Celine Dion lady. The drunk dudes who drank tequila to get up the courage to sing surprisingly soulful versions of "Islands in the Stream."

And now...whatever this short felt guy was, meeping along to Kansas' "Dust in the Wind."

"You do you, my man," he said with a shrug, wiping down the bar.

[OOC: SOMEONE had to go to Kansas.]

comments

Beaker, meeping to himself--and occasionally to the raccoons who were watching--walked around the park cleaning up the donut debris.

"Meep meep meep?" he asked the raccoons hopefully.

All the work sure did whet his appetite for a clean, new donut!

The raccoons made "use your cellphone" gestures. Meeping irritably to himself, Beaker pulled up the app and ordered some new fresh donuts.

And immediately disappeared down a hole.

"MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee--"

comments

Beaker was in Dr. Bunsen Honeydew's lab cleaning up the results of their latest experiment (hair growth tonic: NOT READY YET) when the gremlin shimmered into existence next to him.

Beaker let out a panicked "MEEP!" and bolted, but that was never really going to work because Beaker's life never worked out that well.

There was another set of panicked meepings, a few thuds, and then the gremlin got a good chomp into the felt of Beaker's wrist.

A moment later, an Australian voice came out of Beaker's mouth. "Crikey, would ya look at the size of the teeth on this crocodile?"

It wasn't a crocodile, it was a lab chair, but details.

"Bring that camera in closer!"

There was also no camera, but there was Dr. Honeydew taking copious notes.

[OOC: Had to!]

comments

I've been getting a few questions about whether or not characters can understand Beaker, and I say yes, go for it! He will always speak in meeps, but if your characters is good with languages/has a universal translator option, they are more than welcome to converse with Beaker based on what I say in narrative. He completely understands all of you.

Of course, if it's funnier to just stare at him as he flails around and agree with him based on what you think he's saying, go with that too :D

Questions, comments, funny gifs? Hit me up :)

comments
